The torque sensor in the EPS column or rack reports an electrical fault. Power assist is reduced or disabled.

- High likelihood: Torque sensor failed
- Medium likelihood: Wiring shorted

- ABS warning light on
- ESC/stability control deactivated
- Possible reduced brake assist
