Steering Effort Sensor Range/Performance
The electric power steering module has detected that the torque (effort) sensor signal is out of the expected range. Steering assist is reduced or disabled.

- High likelihood: Steering torque sensor failed
- Medium likelihood: Calibration required after service
- Low likelihood: Sensor element aged beyond calibration window
Possible symptoms
- ABS warning light on

- Possible reduced brake assist
- Speedometer may behave erratically
