A Camshaft Profile Actuator A Control Circuit/Open Bank 2
Open circuit at the cam profile actuator (intake, profile A, bank 2). Same fault as P001A but on bank 2. The cam phaser actuator adjusts intake/exhaust timing under load — a stuck or slow phaser kills mid-rpm torque and can throw correlation codes between cam and crank.

- High likelihood: Wiring break
- Medium likelihood: Actuator coil open
- Low likelihood: Pin pushed back out of connector body
Possible symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Power loss especially in mid-rpm range

- Increased fuel consumption
