Engine Oil Pressure Out of Range
The measured oil pressure is far outside the expected range for current engine speed and oil temperature - either too low (oil pump weak, oil level low, bearing wear) or anomalously high (relief valve stuck closed, blocked oil cooler).
Affected components
- Oil pump
- Oil pressure sensor a
- Oil relief valve
Common causes
- High likelihood: Oil pump worn or oil level low
- Medium likelihood: Pressure relief valve stuck
