DC/DC Converter Current Sensor C Circuit Low

The ECM detects a low fault on the dc/dc converter current sensor c circuit. Reading cannot be used reliably for control.

Affected components

  • Dcdc current sensor c
  • Wiring harness
  • Dcdc converter

Common causes

  • High likelihood: Signal wire shorted to ground
  • Medium likelihood: Internal sensor short
  • Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance

Diagnostic notes

  • The malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate
  • Reduced-power or limp mode may occur
