The ECM detects a circuit intermittent/erratic fault on the intermediate shaft selection actuator position sensor. Reading cannot be used reliably for control.

- High likelihood: Sensor connector not seated
- Medium likelihood: Noisy ground reference
- Low likelihood: Connector with intermittent contact under vibration
