Lost Communication with Sunroof Control Module
The body controller has lost the sunroof / panorama roof module. The roof can no longer be operated electrically and pinch protection is unavailable.

- Sunroof module
- Can bus wiring
Common causes
- High likelihood: Water ingress in sunroof module
- Medium likelihood: LIN wire to sunroof damaged
- Low likelihood: Gateway module routing CAN messages incorrectly
Possible symptoms
- Multiple warning lights may illuminate
- Affected modules may go into limp mode or shut down
- Specific functions inoperative depending on module
- Diagnostic tools may show communication faults
