Wheel Speed Sensors Rotation Direction Correlation
Wheel speed sensors disagree on rotation direction — typically detected when reversing. Wheel-speed signals feed ABS, ESC, traction control, transmission and odometer — a single dropped signal disables all of these safety functions until repaired.
