Encoder Motor
The transfer case control module has detected a fault in the encoder motor used to shift between 2WD and 4WD ranges. A fault prevents range changes and may leave the transfer case in an undefined position.

- High likelihood: Encoder motor failed (worn brushes or seized)
- Medium likelihood: Wiring or connector fault
