The drive (D) switch input reports a input circuit fault. Drive mode selection cannot be reliably detected.

- High likelihood: Switch contact failed
- Medium likelihood: Wiring fault
Possible symptoms
- Check engine or transmission warning light on
- Harsh, delayed, or missing shifts
- Possible limp mode (locked in one gear)
- Slipping or shuddering during gear changes
