The control pilot signal (SAE J1772 / IEC 61851 charging) reports a circuit low condition. EV charging handshake compromised.

- High likelihood: Pilot wire shorted to ground
- Medium likelihood: EVSE pull-down active
- Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
Possible symptoms
- Charge status indicator shows fault
- Charging may not start or interrupts
- Slower-than-expected charge rate
