The ECM detects a circuit fault on the battery charger hybrid/ev battery output current sensor circuit. Reading cannot be used reliably for control.

- High likelihood: Sensor failed
- Medium likelihood: Wiring or connector fault
- Low likelihood: Pack cell imbalance approaching service threshold
Possible symptoms

- Charging may fail or be slowed
- Reduced electric range
