Exhaust Aftertreatment Fuel Air Purge Valve Control Circuit High
The control circuit of the aftertreatment purge valve reads stuck high — typically a short to battery voltage or an open ground/return path. The driver cannot pull the line low to actuate the valve.
Affected components
- Aftertreatment purge valve
- Solenoid driver
Common causes
- High likelihood: Control wire shorted to battery voltage
- Medium likelihood: Open ground or open coil
- Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
