Sensor Reference Voltage G Circuit High

The 5 V reference G voltage is above the expected level. Typical causes are a short to battery or an internal regulator failure.

Affected components

  • Control module
  • Reference voltage rail
  • Wiring harness

Common causes

  • High likelihood: Reference wire shorted to a B+ supply
  • Medium likelihood: Internal 5 V regulator failed
  • Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
