Hybrid/EV Discharge System Fault
The hybrid control module detects a fault in the active discharge system used to safely drain the DC-link capacitors after shutdown. Discharge resistor or switch may have failed.

- Hv discharge resistor
- Discharge switch
- Dc link capacitor
Common causes
- High likelihood: Discharge resistor open
- Medium likelihood: Discharge switch failed
Diagnostic notes
- The malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate
- Reduced-power or limp mode may occur
