Park Brake Switch Stuck Open
The EPB module has detected that the park brake operator switch remains in the open (released) state when an apply request is expected. Operation of the EPB by the driver is restricted.

- High likelihood: EPB switch contacts stuck open
- Medium likelihood: Wiring break in switch circuit
- Low likelihood: Carbon or debris buildup preventing free movement
Possible symptoms
- ABS warning light on

- Possible reduced brake assist
- Speedometer may behave erratically
