Knock/Combustion Vibration Sensor B Circuit Intermittent

Knock sensor B signal jumps or drops out intermittently — usually a corroded connector or chafed wire near the cylinder head.

  • High likelihood: Intermittent connector
  • Low likelihood: Gateway module routing CAN messages incorrectly
  • Low likelihood: CAN terminating resistor (120 Ω) drifted out of spec
