Hybrid/EV Battery Precharge Contactor Circuit Stuck Open
The HV battery precharge contactor is stuck in the open position. DC-link cannot be precharged before main contactor closure.

Common causes
- High likelihood: Contactor mechanically failed open
- Medium likelihood: Contactor coil burnt out
- Low likelihood: Carbon or debris buildup preventing free movement
Possible symptoms
- EV/hybrid system warning light on
- Reduced power output or limp mode
- Charging may fail or be slowed
- Reduced electric range
