Hybrid/EV Battery C Voltage
The BMS detects a generic fault on the voltage measurement of HV battery C. Cell-group voltage monitoring is the foundation of HV battery safety — drift here triggers contactor opening, charge inhibit, and reduced power to protect the pack.
Affected components
- Hv battery c
- Bms
Common causes
- High likelihood: Cell imbalance in this group
- Medium likelihood: Sense circuit fault
- Low likelihood: Ground point with elevated resistance
Possible symptoms
- EV/hybrid system warning light on
- Reduced power output or limp mode
- Charging may fail or be slowed
- Reduced electric range
Diagnostic notes
- The malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate
- Reduced-power or limp mode may occur
