Battery Charger B Voltage Sensor Circuit Low
The ECM detects a low fault on the battery charger b voltage sensor circuit. Reading cannot be used reliably for control.
Affected components
- Battery charger b voltage sensor
- Wiring harness
- Bms
Common causes
- High likelihood: Signal wire shorted to ground
- Medium likelihood: Internal sensor short
- Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
Possible symptoms
- Charge status indicator shows fault
- Charging may not start or interrupts
- Slower-than-expected charge rate
Diagnostic notes
- The malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate
- Reduced-power or limp mode may occur
