Fuel Injector Group F Supply Voltage Circuit High
The supply voltage on injector group F is above the upper limit. Overvoltage on the group-F supply can mis-time or damage the injectors. Causes: charging-system overvoltage, a stuck supply relay or regulator, or a wiring fault shorting the group-F supply to a higher voltage.
Affected components
- Fuel injector group f
Common causes
- High likelihood: Charging system overvoltage
- Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
- Low likelihood: Supply wire pinched against B+ source
Possible symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Misfire or rough idle on the affected cylinder
- Increased fuel consumption
- Possible fuel smell or smoke from exhaust
