Control Module Wake-up Circuit High
The wake-up input reads above the expected range — typically a short to battery voltage. The module sees a permanent wake-up request, never enters sleep mode and drains the battery while parked.
Affected components
- Wake up circuit
- Control module
Common causes
- High likelihood: Wake-up wire shorted to battery voltage
- Low likelihood: Connector pins corroded - high contact resistance
- Low likelihood: Supply wire pinched against B+ source
