Hybrid/EV Battery Pack Current Sensor C High
The hybrid control module detects a high fault on the high-voltage battery pack current sensor C. Pack-level current measurement is impaired.
Affected components
- Hybrid battery current sensor c
- Wiring harness
- Bms
Common causes
- High likelihood: Signal wire shorted to B+
- Medium likelihood: Open current sensor
- Low likelihood: Pack cell imbalance approaching service threshold
Possible symptoms
- EV/hybrid system warning light on
- Reduced power output or limp mode
- Charging may fail or be slowed
- Reduced electric range
Diagnostic notes
