Forced Hybrid/EV Battery Disconnect
The BMS has forced a disconnect of the high-voltage battery from the vehicle bus. Triggered by safety condition such as overcurrent, isolation fault, or thermal runaway.

Common causes
- High likelihood: Safety event triggered disconnect
- Medium likelihood: Isolation fault detected
- Low likelihood: Pack cell imbalance approaching service threshold
Possible symptoms
- EV/hybrid system warning light on
- Reduced power output or limp mode
- Charging may fail or be slowed
- Reduced electric range

- The malfunction indicator lamp may illuminate
- Reduced-power or limp mode may occur
