Important Note: ECU Coding compatibility varies by vehicle. The K7 supports ECU coding but does NOT support ECU programming/flashing. Please send your vehicle VIN to confirm compatibility before purchasing.
OE-Level Full-System Diagnostics in One Click
Get a complete picture of your vehicle's health in seconds. The K7 automatically identifies your vehicle through one-touch Auto VIN and performs comprehensive scans across all available systems—including PCM, ECM, ABS, SRS, EPS, BCM, TPMS, SAS, A/C, Engine, Auto Transmission, EPB, BMS, Suspension, Cruise Control, Steering Angle, Climate Control, Audio, Body Control, and more.
Read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, access live sensor data, view freeze-frame records, and retrieve detailed ECU information—all from a single device. The advanced 4-in-1 live data graphing feature lets you monitor up to four parameters simultaneously in real-time waveform view, making it easier to spot abnormalities and analyze intermittent faults. Built-in recording and playback functions help capture issues that are difficult to reproduce.
Diagnostic reports can be generated with a single tap and shared instantly via Bluetooth or email. Additional built-in tools include a DTC Fault Code Lookup Library, built-in browser, and battery voltage monitor—giving you a complete on-device diagnostic workstation.
Auto VIN Note: Auto VIN depends on whether the VIN is stored in the vehicle's ECU and may not work on older vehicles. You can always enter the VIN manually via Diagnose > Manually Search.

The K7 supports FCA AutoAuth for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Fiat vehicles (2017 and newer) equipped with a Secure Gateway (SGW) module. This allows full diagnostic and service access to otherwise protected systems.
Setup Instructions:
1. Purchase your AutoAuth registration number independently—either on the official AutoAuth website or via the purchase entry on the K7 device (fee charged by FCA).
2. Log in to the FCA official website to bind your device: Add Tool → Pick the Type of Tool → THINKCAR → THINKTOOL Others.
3. Once bound, proceed directly to diagnosis. No additional purchase is required.
Multi-Language Support
Supports 18 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and more—suitable for technicians and users worldwide.
Protocols & Compatibility
Supports CAN FD, OBDII, and EOBD protocols, covering the vast majority of modern vehicles. CAN FD support is built in—no additional adapter needed—and enables faster data transfer and more reliable communication on 2019+ GM models. This reduces the risk of missed or undetected errors during diagnosis.
Note: DoIP protocol is not supported.
Hardware & Connectivity
The K7 runs on Android 10.0 with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. It starts fast, responds smoothly, and handles large vehicle software packages without slowing down.
The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen is easy to read in the workshop, and the 6000mAh built-in battery keeps the device running all day on a single charge. The wireless Bluetooth VCI connects to your vehicle's OBD2 port and gives you up to 33ft (10m) of working range—so you can diagnose from outside the vehicle without being tethered by a cable.
Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) provides fast, stable connectivity for software updates and device pairing. A built-in 13MP rear camera lets you photograph vehicle conditions or capture service documentation directly from the device.
Before You Start – 3 Quick Reminders:
- Plug the Bluetooth VCI into the OBD2 port, then turn on the vehicle's ignition before starting a diagnostic session.
- Make sure the K7 tablet's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both turned on.
- The first time you diagnose a new vehicle, the K7 needs to download the vehicle software—this may take a few minutes. From the second session onward, it will be much faster.
