How to Use KINGBOLEN BF100 Brake Fluid Tester
Step 1: Install 2 AAA batteries into the tester.
Step 2: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.
Step 3: Press the power button once to select the brake fluid type (DOT3, DOT4, or DOT5.1).
Step 4: Insert the probe into the brake fluid reservoir. Make sure the probe is clean and dry before testing for accurate results.
Step 5: Check the LED indicators to determine the brake fluid condition.
Step 6: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to activate or turn off the built-in LED flashlight.
Step 7: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power off the tester.
Safety Reminder
Brake fluid is typically recommended to be replaced approximately every 2 years, depending on vehicle manufacturer recommendations and driving conditions. Because brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, regular testing helps identify contaminated fluid before it affects braking performance.
