Simply connect the clamps to the battery terminals, and the BM550 PLUS automatically powers on and is ready to test—no additional power source or complicated setup required. It supports both in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle battery testing, including discharged batteries. Adjustable CCA and Ah settings provide accurate testing across a wide range of battery specifications.
Reverse Polarity Protection
Built with reverse polarity protection, the BM550 PLUS helps safeguard both the tester and the vehicle battery from accidental reverse connections. If the battery clamps are connected incorrectly, the tester will not perform a test, helping prevent potential circuit damage and ensuring safe, reliable operation.
