To access the core functions of the EDIAG App, you also need to submit relevant vehicle information, such as Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), make, model, engine type and current mileage.
1.2 Voluntarily Submitted Information
We may collect content you actively provide when you contact customer support, fill out surveys or participate in promotional activities, including your feedback and contact details.
1.3 Third-Party Account Data
If you link your EDIAG account to third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook), we will receive limited public profile information such as your name and email address. You have full control over account authorizations and may revoke access at any time.
1.4 Payment Information
When you place orders on our platform, payment details including card numbers and billing addresses will be processed securely by authorized third-party payment service providers. We do not store sensitive payment data. However, we will retain order-related information such as your name, shipping address and email to ensure order fulfillment and delivery.
1.5 Usage & Technical Data
Vehicle Diagnostic Data
While using EDIAG diagnostic devices, we collect anonymized vehicle data, including OBD diagnostic reports and comprehensive test results, to generate professional vehicle maintenance suggestions. All data is aggregated for statistical analysis and will never be linked to your personal identity. You may stop data collection at any time by disconnecting the EDIAG device from your vehicle.
Device Information
We collect device model and operating system version information to troubleshoot software malfunctions and optimize application performance.
Location Data
All location data is stored locally on your device. EDIAG will not access, store or share such information with any third parties. You are free to enable or disable location permissions within the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
The data we collect is used for the following purposes:
Service Operation & Maintenance: Provide professional vehicle diagnosis and customer support, and ensure all functions work properly.
Service Optimization & Personalization: Analyze user habits to upgrade product features, resolve technical issues and develop new services.
Message Delivery: Send service updates and respond to your inquiries. We will only deliver marketing content with your explicit consent.
Security Protection: Prevent fraudulent activities, verify user identities and prohibit unauthorized use of our services.
We process your data based on your consent or legitimate business needs. You may withdraw your consent anytime in the App settings.

We will never sell or rent your personal data. Your information will only be shared under the following limited circumstances:

4. Your Rights Over Personal Data
You are entitled to full management of your personal information:
Access, Edit & Delete: You can view, modify and export most of your personal data via the EDIAG App. Deleting your account will remove all relevant information stored on our servers.
Permission Management: Adjust settings for notifications, location access and marketing subscriptions at your discretion.
5. SSL Security Statement
We adopt comprehensive protection measures in line with industry standards to prevent personal information from loss, misuse, leakage, tampering and damage.
All credit card information you submit is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and stored with AES-256 encryption algorithm. While no internet transmission or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security, we strictly comply with PCI-DSS and other mainstream industry security standards.
All data transmission between you and our website is protected by SSL encryption.
