Use the Ediag app for app-based KINGBOLEN EDIAG adapters such as EDIAG, EDIAG Plus, and EDIAG Elite. Download the app only from Google Play or the Apple App Store using the official links above. Do not install an APK from an unknown download site.

1. Install the official Ediag app and create or sign in to your account.
2. Locate the serial number and activation code supplied with the product or manual.
3. Follow the activation prompts in the app and bind the adapter to the correct account.
4. Connect the adapter to a powered OBD port and allow the requested Bluetooth and device permissions.

Keep your activation information private. If a code is missing or already bound, contact support with proof of purchase.

1. Update the Ediag app from the official app store.
2. Open the app on a stable Wi-Fi connection and sign in to the account bound to the adapter.
3. Open the software or download area and install updates for the vehicle brands you use.
4. Keep the phone or tablet powered and do not disconnect during a download.

Included update periods and renewal terms vary by model and purchase offer.

Open the official KINGBOLEN Quick Start Manual Library above and select the document that exactly matches the model label on your device. Some manuals cover a paired family, such as K8 Elite / K8 Pro or K10 Elite / K10 Pro. If your exact model is not listed, contact EDIAG Support before using another model's instructions.

1. Charge the scanner and connect it to stable Wi-Fi.
2. Sign in with the account used to activate the device.
3. Open the built-in update or software update area.
4. Select the available system and vehicle software packages, then keep the device powered until installation finishes.
5. Restart the diagnostic app or device if the update screen requests it.

Do not install phone-app packages or firmware intended for another scanner.

Software entitlement depends on the model, activation date, region, and included update period. Confirm the device date and time, account, serial number, and network connection first. If the message remains, contact support with a screenshot and serial number before purchasing a renewal.

Use ThinkDiag+ for ThinkDiag, ThinkDiag 2, ThinkDiag Mini, ThinkCar BD6, ThinkDriver, and ThinkCar Pro devices. The official THINKCAR download page above provides current app links and multilingual quick start guides.

The serial number is normally on the back of the adapter. The activation code is supplied with the Quick Start Guide or product packaging. Enter both in ThinkDiag+ when prompted. Contact support with proof of purchase if either item is missing.

For ThinkDiag devices, keep ThinkDiag+ current through the official app store and download vehicle software inside the app. For THINKCAR tablet products, use the device's built-in update function. Update eligibility and renewal options depend on the specific product and subscription.

Use the official KINGBOLEN Quick Start Manual Library and search for the exact model printed on the product. Many standalone electrical testers and basic code readers use their supplied manual rather than a mobile app. Contact support if the model is not listed.

• Confirm the product model and serial number.
• Use stable Wi-Fi and sufficient battery power.
• Use only the app, update menu, or file named in the exact model's manual.
• Back up saved reports when the device supports export.
• Do not interrupt firmware installation or use files shared for another model.

Send EDIAG Support the order number, product model, serial number, current app or system version, phone operating system when applicable, a screenshot of the error, and the step where it failed. Do not repeatedly reinstall firmware or factory-reset the device unless support instructs you to do so.
