How to Use the KINGBOLEN BF200 Brake Fluid Tester
Step 1: Install 2 AAA 1.5V batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the tester. (Batteries not included.)
Step 2: Press the POWER button to turn on the device. The LCD screen will light up, indicating that the tester has completed its self-check and is ready for use.
Step 3: Press the MENU button to cycle through DOT3, DOT4, and DOT5.1 modes. Select the brake fluid type that matches your vehicle.
Step 4: Insert the gooseneck probe into the brake fluid reservoir and wait for the LCD screen to display the test result.
Step 5: Check the displayed reading to determine the current condition of the brake fluid and whether replacement is recommended.
